The full sail was a nice surprise - a very drinkable lager. The Harpoons were decent, but both were a little watery.

But the biggest thing i get out of it is the cloves in the aroma. Right now I'm am finishing up my stock of sn celebration ale, trying the longshots, and even tried bud's amber wheat ale last night....not great but rather tasty for what they usually bring out. Anyone else try it? I love the fact i can buy it on tap for pretty much the same price as a bud (like $2 a pint).

It was thick and oily and looked like staring into a black hole. I had probably kept it in the fridge too long as there was absolutely no head. The aroma was strong of coffee. The taste had strong coffee and chocolate characteristics. It was a delight. The Stone Ruination seemed to have lost some of its hop kick. I bought the final bottles off of a dusty shelf last year in Tennessee. The hops were less bitter and have mellowed - more citrus. At 7.7%, I was hoping this one would have aged nicely. My advice is to drink these fresh (although no one complained). It was a good night.
