Here at The Southern Beer Society we promote being responsible when drinking beer. We ask all our members to not drink and drive. We also ask our members to drink in moderation and not to abuse beer. Drink responsibly.

The Southern Beer Society is a website devoted to beer. Agree with it or not the current laws state that the minimum age to consume alcoholic beverages is 21 so we ask that all members are at least 21. Thank you.
Anyone interested in another BeerBQ on June 7th? I decided not to go to the International Beer Festival due to the $45 ticket price and the fact that I'm sure most of us can come up with a better beer selection than them. My beer sabbatical is over and I'm ready for some good beer. Anyone interested?

That would work even better for me as well. I will be working at the fest so I probably will need some morning recovery time anyway and can get the place all cleaned up. I have a nice big copper bar so we can get out of the heat or the rain whichever it happens to be that day. I still have a whole bunch of beers from my brother out in CA and will most likely have a few homebrews on tap as well.
So what does everyone else think about Sunday June 8th starting around 5 or 6? Do not cease to drink beer, to eat, to intoxicate thyself, to make love, and to celebrate the good days.
Around 5:30 would be good for me. Riki, maybe I could hitch a ride over to NOLA Brews place so I can have my wife pick me up? Derek, can I post this on BA or can you?

Well hate to change it again, but talked to Dan Stein and he'll be in Philly that weekend and if we do it the next weekend he'll bring a whole bunch of DFH and other northeast beer. What do you guys think, either Sunday works for me, the 8th or 15th? Then u can post it. I dont go on BA much, its blocked at work.
